Fluoride varnish is a quick treatment that helps strengthen enamel and protect teeth from cavities. It can also help with some types of tooth sensitivity. We may recommend it based on your risk for decay and your individual needs. It’s applied directly to the teeth in a small, controlled amount and is safe when used as directed.

If you clench or grind your teeth — especially while you sleep — the constant pressure can wear down your teeth, cause cracks or fractures, damage fillings and crowns, and contribute to jaw soreness or headaches. A custom-fitted night guard, also called an occlusal guard, creates a protective barrier between your teeth to help reduce the damage caused by clenching and grinding, also known as bruxism. Curodont is a non-invasive treatment designed for early-stage cavities that have not yet developed into a hole in the tooth. Instead of drilling away tooth structure and placing a filling, Curodont uses a special peptide technology that penetrates the early lesion and creates a framework that attracts calcium and phosphate from your saliva. This helps rebuild minerals within the weakened enamel and can stop or reverse early decay.

Curodont can be used on early decay between teeth, on chewing surfaces, and on smooth tooth surfaces, including some white-spot lesions. It is suitable for both children and adults. Because it is intended for early, non-cavitated decay, not every cavity qualifies.

Why we use it: Curodont gives us an opportunity to intervene early while preserving as much of your natural tooth as possible—often without drilling, numbing, or placing a traditional filling.

If cold water, sweets, or even a blast of air causes a quick, sharp "zing," exposed dentin may be the reason. GLUMA is an in-office desensitizing treatment designed to reduce sensitivity by sealing microscopic tubules within the dentin. This reduces the movement of fluid through those tubules that can trigger sensitivity.

 GLUMA can be used on exposed sensitive areas of a tooth and may also be applied during restorative procedures to help reduce sensitivity following treatment. Application is quick and does not require light curing.

 Why we use it: Tooth sensitivity can have several causes. When exposed dentin is responsible, GLUMA gives us a simple, conservative way to help make everyday eating and drinking more comfortable.
