Chris Christensen, DMD
Dr. Chris Christensen was born in Arizona and raised in California’s Central San Joaquin Valley. In 2003, he moved back to Arizona, where he met his sweetheart, Nichole. After serving a two-year church mission in Atlanta, Georgia, he and Nichole married and began their life together.
Dr. Chris earned his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Northern Arizona University in 2011 before pursuing his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, graduating Cum Laude in 2016. That same year, he and his family made New Mexico their home.
As the owner of Sandia View Family Dental, Dr. Chris is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. Outside the office, he loves spending time with Nichole and their three boys. He also enjoys throwing clay at a local pottery studio, golfing, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors.
Nichole Christensen, Business Development Manager
Nichole grew up in Kingman, Arizona, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in 2007. She later obtained two Master’s Degrees—one in Early Childhood Education (2011) and another in English (2014). She spent many years in the real estate industry, working in escrow, home mortgages, and business development.
After moving to New Mexico in 2016, Nichole took time to focus on raising her three boys. Now, as Business Development Manager at Sandia View Family Dental, she is excited to help grow the practice and connect with the community. A passionate supporter of the arts, she enjoys theatre, playing the piano, and advocating for fine arts programs for children. In her free time, she enjoys musical theatre, movies, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Anachelica Keith, Office Manager
A proud New Mexico native raised in Corrales, Anachelica Keith is a dedicated and experienced Office Manager at Sandia View Family Dental. With a deep passion for the dental profession, her career began in 2007 in the front office, complemented by earning her Dental Assistant Certificate in 2008. Anachelica holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, providing a strong framework for her management role. When she's not keeping the dental office running smoothly, Anachelica is a busy mom, often serving as the "human shuttle" for her two children's adventures, particularly at club baseball games. She also enjoys dancing, spending quality time with family and friends, and traveling. Anachelica is thrilled to be part of the Sandia View Family Dental team.
Gina Moraga, Dental Hygienist
Gina has been part of our team in Rio Rancho as a Dental Hygienist since September of 2009. Her Career in Dentistry began in 1998 when she attained her certificate in Dental Assisting. Gina also spent several years as an office manager for a specialty practice which provided her with a breadth of knowledge in the Dental Industry. In 2009 Gina graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Upon Graduation, Gina was presented with the Irene Navarette award for her leadership and maintaining a 4.0 in her clinical studies. Gina’s dedication to her craft can be attested to by her friends and family who know she is always looking at their teeth. In her spare time, Gina enjoys going to the gym with her husband and spending quality time with her 3 children.
Erica Ridenour, Dental Hygienist
Erica joined our team in 2014. Prior to coming to work at our office, Erica received her Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern New Mexico University in 2006. She graduated first in her class from Dental Hygiene school in 2010 from Amarillo College. Erica has lived and worked in the Rio Rancho area since 2010. Erica is committed to her patients and the high quality care that they deserve. Erica enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children.
Alexis (Lexi) Molina, Dental Hygienist
Alexis joined our team in July of 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Mexico with Summa Cum Laude honors in 2022. She was awarded the Sigma Phi Alpha award inducting her into the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society for being the top of her class for academics, finishing with a 4.2 gpa. Alexis is passionate about forming connections with each of her patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals. As a hygienist at our Rio Rancho dental clinic, Alexis makes it her top priority to give patients a pleasant dental experience and receive the standard of care they deserve.
Alana Williamson, Dental Hygienist
Alana joined our team in early 2017. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Mexico in 2015. Alana was awarded the Dr. Vere Lane Scholarship and received the American Dental Hygienist Association award for best overall table clinic presentation. She has lived in New Mexico all of her life, and in her spare time, she enjoys camping and the great outdoors with her family.
Heather Navarrette, Dental Assistant
Heather has been a part of our team since 2010. Heather received her certificate in Dental Assisting from Pima Medical Institute in 2010. Heather is a New Mexico native and enjoys camping and spending time with her three children.
Renee Martinez, Dental Assistant
A proud New Mexico native, Renee graduated from West Mesa High School and began her dental career after completing the dental assisting program at Pima Medical Institute in 2013. With three grown daughters and a grandson, family is at the heart of everything she does. She loves spending time outdoors, whether it's camping, fishing, or just enjoying nature. Renee is dedicated to making every patient feel welcome and cared for at Sandia View Family Dental.
April Griego, Practice Coordinator
April, a proud northern New Mexico native, moved to Albuquerque in 2008 and began her dental assisting career in 2011. With over ten years of experience in both clinical and administrative roles, she truly believes in treating patients like family and is passionate about making sure they feel informed and cared for. April’s knowledge of insurance and billing ensures that patients fully understand their treatment and feel confident in their choices. Outside of work, April is a busy mom of three, she enjoys working out, cooking, and spending time with family & friends. April is excited to be a part of the Sandia View Family Dental team and looks forward to meeting our patients!
Ashley Rael, Administrative & Billing Specialist
Born and raised in Santa Fe, Ashley has been in the dental field since 2008 when she earned her Certified Dental Assistant license from CNM. With 14 years of experience in billing and insurance, she loves helping patients navigate their dental coverage. Outside of work, Ashley stays busy with her three children and enjoys camping, watching hockey, and spending quality time with her family. She’s happy to be part of the Sandia View Family Dental team, ensuring patients have a smooth and stress-free experience.
Gloria (Glo) Shannon, Dental Assistant
Gloria began her career in dentistry in 2021, starting with on-the-job training and quickly discovering a passion for patient care. She is especially proud of how much she has grown in such a short time and the knowledge she continues to build every day.
What Gloria loves most is connecting with patients and helping make each visit as comfortable and positive as possible. She believes there is so much more to being a dental assistant than working chairside—patient education, sterilization, and supporting overall health are all vital parts of her role, and she takes that responsibility seriously.
Originally from Payson, Arizona, Gloria moved to New Mexico to continue her education and embrace a new chapter. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her three cats and one dog, and relaxing with her honey.
Stephanie Gutierrez, Front Office Lead
Stephanie brings over 14 years of experience in the dental field and a deep commitment to creating an exceptional patient experience. She began her career at the front desk and has grown into a leadership role, including serving as an office manager in a previous practice—an accomplishment she is especially proud of.
As Front Office Lead, Stephanie is passionate about supporting both patients and her team. She loves the relationships built each day and believes the front office is the foundation of a smooth, stress-free visit. From answering insurance questions to problem-solving and offering a warm welcome, her goal is always to make every patient feel cared for and confident in their care.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her kids at sporting events, hiking, traveling, and being outdoors. She also loves taking her dogs on walks and exploring all that New Mexico has to offer.
Alondra Talavera-Flores, Patient Relations Specialist
Alondra is the friendly first face you’ll see when you walk into Sandia View Family Dental. She began her career in dentistry in 2019, thinking it would simply be a fun job—and quickly discovered a true passion for helping people feel welcomed and cared for.
Alondra speaks Spanish, and she loves being able to connect with and support even more patients, making sure everyone feels understood and at ease from the moment they arrive. She believes the front office plays a vital role in every patient’s experience and takes that responsibility to heart each day.
Alondra grew up here in Albuquerque, and she enjoys cooking and baking in her free time, spending time with her family, and cheering on her child at soccer games.
Joyelle (Jojo) Romero, Treatment Coordinator
Joyelle brings more than a decade of experience in dentistry and patient care to her role as Treatment Coordinator. She began her career in 2010 as a dental assistant, spending six years in both oral surgery and general dentistry before moving into office management from 2015 to 2023. Her background gives her a unique ability to understand both the clinical and administrative sides of care.
Joyelle is proud of her extensive training and education, including her Dental Assistant National Board (DANB) and Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification Examination (DAANCE) certifications, an Associate of Liberal Arts, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. What she enjoys most is helping patients understand their options, feel at home, and move forward with treatment in a way that is both affordable and efficient. She believes her role is about advocacy—doing her very best to help each patient get what they need while building genuine, lasting relationships along the way.
Originally from Northern New Mexico, Joyelle spent 15 years working for the U.S. Postal Service before returning to school to pursue her true passion in the medical and dental field. Outside of work, she loves fishing, spending time in the mountains, cheering on sports (especially football), and making memories with her four grandchildren, who are her heart. She also enjoys time at home with her two cats.
Sara Brady, Front Office
Sara is new to the dental field and brings a fresh perspective, strong work ethic, and excitement for learning to our front office team. She thrives on being challenged and enjoys discovering new skills each day, always striving to grow in her role and provide great support to both patients and her teammates.
Outside of dentistry, Sara is especially proud of building a business with her husband—they own and operate their own pool company while both also holding full-time jobs. Her drive, adaptability, and dedication shine through in everything she does.
Originally born in Louisiana and raised in New Mexico, Sara enjoys cooking, gardening, baking, four-wheeling, and anything involving race cars. She also loves traveling to spend time with family whenever she can.
